Ladies of Chrome and Leather (L.O.C.A.L.) is the Riverside, California area chapter of Women in the Wind (WITW), an international organization for women motorcyclists (all makes and models of motorcycles accepted). WITW was founded in Toledo, Ohio by Becky Brown in 1979 and has grown to over 1000 members with close to 60 chapters in the U.S., Canada, England and New Zealand.
MEETINGS: L.O.C.A.L. meetings are held the third Saturday of the month at Flo's Restaurant in Riverside located at 5620 Van Buren Blvd.with a group ride following the meeting. We participate in various events and runs including benefit rides and poker rides sponsored by many motorcycle groups in the area. We are a very active and enthusiastic chapter. Our members come from all walks of life but we have one common interest in motorcycling.
OUR GOAL: Meet other ladies with a
common interest in riding, encourage new riders, socialize, have fun,
raise money for excellent causes, learn safety and minor maintenance,
better our riding skills, promote a positive image of women riders and
RIDE.
